Oxford buses heading to airports are suffering significant delays following a serious motorway crash.
The incident occurred on the M40 on Friday morning seeing emergency services quickly descend while the northbound lanes between Loudwater and High Wycombe were closed.
The Good Friday crash has had a knock-on effect on bus services travelling from Oxford to airports and vice versa.
Oxford Bus Company took to the social media site X to update travellers about the subsequent delays.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Please note that we are experiencing delays to Departures on our Airline services from Oxford to the Airports and also delays on the incoming services back to Oxford due to A RTC on M40
“Due to an incident on the M40, we are experiencing significant delays of approximately 45-60 minutes to our Airline coach service.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
The Oxford Mail has approached Thames Valley Police for comment on the crash.
