Police carry out roadside checks
Drivers in East Oxford were today being stopped by police carrying out roadside checks.
The checks in Marsh Road were part of a mobile Automatic Number Plate Recognition scheme, which runs the number through police and DVLA databases.
The databases flag up vehicles for not having road tax or insurance or for being involved in other crimes.
Police spokesman Vicki Brandon said: "ANPR checks are being carried out in Marsh Road. Five local officers and three support staff are involved."

East Oxford is awash with people who think that they can behave in the manner that they are used to in their home country.
Some think seat belts are an optional extra.
Some think licence and insurance is only required if you are British.
Rid the roads of these leaches.

And what exactly will happen in the long term? Precisely nothing!
Still, at least it keeps them away from catching "green grillers" or any other real police work.

Today the exasperation of the non politically affiliated copper is to be aired.
The criminals are apprehended and they all speak no English!,cue one of an increasing number of £190,000 interpreters.
Next the immigration papers are moved between the various interested parties.
One criminal faces the music and another two are given the nod by the New Labour government.
The cells used to be filled with us but now the cells are filled with them.
Thus the police force is kept busy with immigrant criminals leaving very serious organised crime free to go about their endeavours and also importing more of their number.

They think it is normal to do so.....slip a £50 wink wink......

Criminals like everyone travel in a car. They don't walk up the road with a bag marked swag. So in the long term it can help deter criminals as the ANPR slogan is "Denying criminals use of the road"

For one who is obviously so passionate about your British identity, you seem to have trouble grasping the basic elements of our language. In your post I can see sentences without capital letters and questions without question marks.
Surely anyone who is driving a dangerous vehicle, or in a dangerous manner, should be taken off the road, irrespective of nationality?
