A single northbound carriageway is now open on the A34 following a fatal accident on the road this morning.
However police have said it could still be several hours before the road is fully re-opened.
The Highways Agency are currently working to repair crash barriers which were badly damaged when an articulated lorry overturned on the road close to Weston-on-the-Green.
A 62-year-old man from Southampton was killed in the accident at around 5.30am.
